Bosch Philippines’ Automotive Aftermarket (AA) division recently launched the brand’s next-generation auto parts that they are positioning as the best alternatives to the manufacturer’s original equipment. Composed of a comprehensive range of new and exchange parts, Bosch’s new products are part of its commitment to making the roads safer with safer vehicles.

Braking components such as brake pads play a crucial role in car safety,” said Paulo Duarte, General Manager of Bosch Philippines. “We are always committed to progress by making essential contributions toward advancing technical progress in brake technology. Bosch brake innovations have been supporting road safety for more than 90 years,” he added.
With its extensive experience in designing brake systems for manufacturers, Bosch has created vehicle-matched brake pads to optimize performance and remove the guesswork from choosing the correct replacement parts. The newly launched Bosch Blue Line Brake Pads were engineered to have excellent friction stability and shearing characteristics, low noise and vibration suppression, be brake disc friendly, have a good wear rate, and be asbestos-free. Designed to perform like OE brake pads, the Blue Line pads promise high braking performance, excellent thermal stability, quiet braking, and reduced dust.
Together with the brake pads, Bosch also introduced its ENV6 Brake Fluid, which is compatible with a wide range of vehicles, especially those that follow the Japanese Industrial Standard. The ENV6 has low viscosity, a high boiling point, and good lubrication, and because it is compatible with future brake systems as well as almost any brake system launched since 1990, it reduces the need to have multiple products in stock.
Aside from the brake components, Bosch’s AA division also announced the availability of other consumables:
- Bosch AGM Battery – Bosch’s high-performance battery is designed to deliver reliable and long-lasting power to vehicles with start-stop system. Engineered to withstand extreme temperatures and harsh driving conditions, it is ideal for use in a wide range of vehicles, including luxury cars, high-performance sports cars, and heavy-duty trucks.
- Bosch EFB Battery – Designed to provide superior performance and longer service life compared to traditional flooded batteries, Bosch EFB batteries are built with a durable and rugged construction that is resistant to vibrations and shocks. It delivers high starting power, making them ideal for vehicles with high electrical demands, such as those with entry-level start-stop. It is also equipped with a special acid circulation system that ensures an even distribution of acid throughout the battery, which reduces the risk of acid stratification and extends the battery’s service life.
- Bosch Aeristo Premium Cabin Filter – Neutralizes harmful gasses, fine dust particles and has an additional layer that filters viruses, bacteria, and allergens and provides fresher air in the passenger cabin.
- Bosch LED Gigalight – The latest addition to the Bosch LED Retrofit range of advanced, energy-saving vehicle lamps for the front headlights. With its white color, they offer an elegant lighting effect and are compatible with most common halogen sockets. Bosch LED lamps are ideal for drivers who want their vehicles to have a stylish and modern lighting effect.
- Bosch Aerotwin with new AeroClip adapter – An aerodynamically optimized connection between the wiper blade and wiper arm that increases the contact pressure against the windshield, preventing the wiper from being lifted by an airstream. This results in an improved wiping stability performance, even at higher speeds.
- Bosch EVO Spark plugs – Engineered to ensure reliable ignition throughout its long service life – even under extreme conditions in modern engines. Thanks to its improved insulator design and high dielectric strength (greater than 45 kV), the new EVO spark plugs can withstand irregular combustion – known as mega knocking – that can occur in modern, technologically advanced engines. Bosch EVO spark plugs are developed and produced with the same high quality as original equipment spark plugs.
All of Bosch AA’s products are searchable via the Bosch E-Catalogue. Because the catalog’s system asks for the make, model, and year of the vehicle in need of specific parts, it is able to identify with certainty the correct part that is needed. The parts can then be purchased through partner resellers or through the Bosch eXtra Loyalty application, which is available for iOS and Android.
