Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) is ready to launch the all-new BR-V with the arrival of the initial batch of units of the 7-seater SUV. The all-new model was first previewed at the recent 8th Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS) and is scheduled to launch on November 21, 2022, in Paranaque City.
The all-new Honda BR-V comes with a bolder look and advanced features for the needs of the Filipino family. The new design combines the tough characteristics of an SUV, the space and flexibility of an MPV, along with powerful performance yet fuel-efficient driving, anchored on Honda’s proven track record of quality, reliability, and superior overall value.
Aggressive and Sporty SUV Style
From the outside, the all-new Honda BR-V presents a dynamic body shape, with strong lines that run from the front to the back of the body that features an aggressive and sporty look of an SUV. With its higher ground clearance and new 17’’ alloy wheel design, the next-generation model commands an even better road presence.
Spacious and Comfortable Interior with MPV Value
The all-new BR-V provides an efficiently designed interior to create an even more comfortable and spacious environment for all occupants. With its larger body, this model has more legroom and headroom for passengers in each row to better enjoy the cabin. This seven-seater SUV also lets you bring more thanks to its larger cargo area. With its flexible interior that features One-Touch Tumble Second Row Seats, and a Dive Down Mechanism for the 3rd row, the redesigned BR-V is purpose-built to serve a wide range of needs and adventures.
The all-new BR-V features a functional approach to interior design to achieve comfort and practicality. Leather seats are available for the VX CVT Honda SENSING and V CVT variants, while High-Grade Fabric is available for S CVT and S MT variants. A first for this model, the all-new BR-V now features a Seat Height Adjuster and Adjustable Steering Wheel across all variants for added driver convenience.

Powerful Yet Fuel Efficient Engine
Powering this seven-seater SUV is a 1.5L DOHC i-VTEC engine with a maximum power of 121PS at 6,600rpm and maximum torque of 145Nm at 4,300rpm. It is mated to a new Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) to deliver better fuel efficiency and acceleration response that helps the driver feel more confident when driving through various road conditions—whether city driving or long cruising drives.
Premium and Advanced Features
The all-new Honda BR-V gained an efficiently designed cockpit area that highlights functionality for the driver and passengers. On top of its upgraded design, this model boasts an array of various technology features such as 7-inch Advanced Touchscreen Display Audio with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and Remote Engine Start –both of which provide added convenience and ease of access.
Safety
In pursuit of Honda’s global goal to realize zero traffic collision fatalities by 2050, the all-new BR-V VX CVT is equipped with Honda SENSING’s advanced safety technology which provides comprehensive protection for drivers and passengers by giving warnings and taking actions to reduce the risks of accidents. Honda SENSING safety features include:
- Collision Mitigation Brake System (CMBS)
- Auto-High Beam (AHB)
- Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS)
- Lead Car Departure Notification System (LCDN)
- Road Departure Mitigation System with Lane Departure Warning (RDM with LDW)
- Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with Low-Speed Follow (LSF)
Aside from its advanced safety features, the all-new BR-V comes standard with Speed Sensing Auto Door Locks, Dual and Side Airbags, a Reverse Camera with Guidelines, Driver and Front Passenger Seat Belt Reminder, Anti-lock Brake System (ABS), Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA), Hill Start Assist, Security Alarm, Immobilizer, Emergency Stop Signal, and ISO Fix Child Seat Anchor.
The Side Curtain Airbags, LaneWatch Camera, and Rear Seat Belt Reminder are exclusively available for the VX CVT Honda SENSING. In addition, the Walk Away Auto Lock is available for the VX CVT Honda SENSING and V CVT variants, while the Remote Engine Start is available for the VX CVT Honda SENSING, V CVT, and S CVT variants.
With all these safety features, the all-new BR-V is awarded a 5-star rating in the latest ASEAN NCAP (New Car Assessment Program for Southeast Asia) announcement last September 2022. This demonstrates Honda’s commitment to safety for everyone sharing the road so that we may truly enjoy the freedom of mobility and have confidence and peace of mind whenever we use our vehicles.

- All-New BR-V 1.5 V CVT – Php 1,300,000
- All-New BR-V 1.5 S CVT – Php 1,190,000
- All-New BR-V 1.5 S MT – Php 1,100,000
Available colors include Premium Opal White Silver Pearl (new color; VX CVT and V CVT)( Additional PHP 20,000); Meteoroid Grey Metallic (new color; all variants); Crystal Black Pearl (V CVT and S CVT); Lunar Silver Metallic (all variants); and Taffeta White (S CVT and S MT).
