Ford Philippines is increasing the accessibility and availability of its parts in its continuous bid to improve the Ford ownership experience.
The company recently added a new parts warehouse facility to store and supply up to 30% more parts from its current inventory, improving parts availability. On top of the service parts catering to the current Ford vehicle lineup, the additional space will be able to accommodate more parts for newer Ford vehicles such as F-150, Transit, Territory, and the Ranger FX4 MAX.
The additional space will also pave the way for Ford Philippines to become a major parts hub, supplying vehicle parts to Ford markets in the ASEAN region such as Thailand, Vietnam, and Myanmar.
“At Ford, we aim to treat our customers like family. We recognize that parts accessibility is very important for our customers and in the overall ownership experience. With the expansion of our parts warehouse facility, we are able to better serve our customers and improve their after-sales experience when it comes to parts availability,” said Joyce Laxamana, director, Ford Customer Service Division, Ford Philippines.
Aside from the improved availability, Ford is also ramping up its nationwide direct delivery and same-day delivery programs, leveraging on a more automated and streamlined process that makes parts ordering and delivery faster and more efficient.
With nationwide direct delivery, Ford is now able to deliver parts straight to all 50 dealers in the country. With same-day delivery, parts ordered before 12 noon are delivered on the same day for dealers in Metro Manila and in nearby locations.
“We aim to continuously improve on our parts delivery process to expedite the servicing and maintenance of Ford vehicles in our showrooms while maintaining the Ford brand of quality service,” added Laxamana.
