Hino Motors Philippines (HMP), the exclusive distributor of Hino trucks and buses, launched the upgraded FC9JL7A medium-duty truck model under the Hino 500 truck series at the recently concluded Transport and Logistics Expo, held from August 15 to 17 at the World Trade Center in Pasay City.

The re-engineered Hino FC9JL7A medium-duty truck is designed to deliver powerful driving performance, high durability, ergonomic comfort, good transport quality, and flexible body-building capability. The all-new Hino FC9JL7A medium-duty truck now has a higher gradeability of 45.2 percent. It boasts an increased resume-accelerate (R/A) gear ratio of 4.88 from 4.33, increased wheelbase of 4,990mm from 4,350mm, and increased alternator limit of 90A from 60A. The fuel capacity has doubled from 100 liters to 200 liters for maximum capacity and the air over hydraulic brakes have been enhanced with an anti-lock braking system (ABS) for a safer driving experience. The air-conditioning unit and power windows have likewise been improved for added comfort.
