Honda Philippines, Inc. (HPI), the No.1 motorcycle manufacturer in the country, recently introduced the highly-anticipated upgraded dual-sports adventure bike to the Philippines – the all-new CB500X.
Recently unveiled in Europe, the all-new CB500X is set to quench every rider’s thirst for adventure with its powerful 471cc liquid-cooled 4-stroke DOHC parallel twin-engine, capable of churning out 35.0kW at 8,500rpm and 43.2Nm of torque at 6,500rpm. These features make it perfect for on- and off-road adventures and alternative commuting because it’s expressway legal.
Despite its displacement, it boasts excellent fuel economy with its 17.7L fuel tank capacity and 27.8 km/L fuel consumption. First-time riders and enthusiasts alike will be thrilled to ride this middleweight adventure tourer with its 199kg weight and 834mm seat height.
Equipped with a new upside-down (inverted) front fork and new dual disk front brakes, the all-new CB500X is both street-sensible and off-road capable. It is fitted with a larger 19-inch aluminum front wheel for better stability and more comfortable handling. It also has a more balanced suspension trip on pavement and dirt thanks to its Showa 41mm SFF-BP USD Forks front suspension and Prolink Mono with a 5-stage pre-load adjuster, steel hollow cross swing arm rear suspension.
The all-new CB500X is available in Grand Prix Red and Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic with a suggested retail price of Php 380,000.
