Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. has upgraded their 10th generation Civic with the release of the 2017 Honda Civic 1.8 E CVT. The updated model sports additional features that provide a higher level of convenience for Honda’s highly praised compact sedan.
The 2017 all-new Civic 1.8 E CVT now comes with Power Folding Side Mirrors that gives the driver the ability to control and fold the side mirrors in different driving situations and road conditions. It also now comes with a Speed Sensing Auto Door Lock that conveniently bolts all doors when the driving speed reaches 15 kph. These features not only provide convenience to the customers but also improve their ownership experience through added safety.
The all-new Civic’s Smart Key is now equipped with advanced features, such as the Remote Engine Start Function that starts the vehicle’s engine from the outside and turn on its Auto Climate Control System that allows the vehicle to cool even before the passengers enter the vehicle. It also consists of a Walk-away Auto Lock Feature that automatically locks all doors after sensing the smart key’s distance from the vehicle by approximately 2.5 meters.
Under the hood, the 2017 all-new Civic 1.8 E CVT is still powered by a 1.8-liter engine that produces a maximum torque of 171 nm at 4,300 rpm, and a maximum power output of 139 HP at 6,500 rpm. The engine is paired with Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) developed under Earth Dreams Technology.
The 2017 all-new Civic 1.8 E CVT is available at all Honda dealerships nationwide with the following colorways: cosmic blue metallic; midnight burgundy pearl; lunar silver metallic; modern steel metallic; and for an additional Php 20,000, white orchid pearl.
The 2017 all-new Civic 1.8 E CVT is priced at Php1,103,000, while the 1.8 E CVT Modulo variant is priced at Php 1,158,000.
