Hyundai Asia Resources, Inc. (HARI), the official distributor of Hyundai passenger cars and commercial vehicles in the Philippines, held its first-ever digital launch to introduce the latest addition to its lineup, the all-new Venue subcompact SUV.
The all-new Venue is the smallest SUV in Hyundai’s lineup, and its bold and robust platform exudes youthful fun and energy.
Upfront, the Venue features Hyundai’s bold cascading grille with a 3-dimensional pattern formed from an intricate mesh of black and chrome steel, projecting a premium, captivating style. This premium styling is carried over to the little details like the black cladding around the fender, voluminous wheel arches, boldly sculpted side character lines, 17-inch alloy wheels with sporty and asymmetrical spoke design, and the front-wheel air curtain inlet that is integrated into the bumper. It has bi-function halogen headlights with static blending and LED DRL and position lamps that provide visibility day and night.
From the back, you’re greeted by its name emblazoned in white with a chrome outline set against a wide rear door that is flanked by its LED taillights. The Venue’s unique Z-shaped tail lamps with a lenticular optical lens as well as its back-up lamps that are incorporated into the rear bumper add to the Venue’s vibrant personality.
Inside, the Venue’s T-shaped dashboard design echoes Hyundai’s bold and sporty approach in organizing the Venue’s interior space. Its advanced infotainment system features an 8-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and also displays the rearview camera to aid in parking.

The Venue is equipped with Drive mode and 2WD multi-traction control that adapts to one’s driving style (sporty, normal, or eco-friendly) with a single jog dial. Vehicle settings can be checked with its 3.5-inch LCD and the cabin’s temperature with its three-dial automatic air-conditioning system.
The Venue’s interior offers a practical yet versatile space that the everyday urban commuter would appreciate. It offers 355 liters of cargo space, which can be enlarged further with the rear seats folding flat 60/40. It also features a dual-level luggage board that can be positioned at the top or bottom to further maximize luggage-loading convenience. A retractable covering shelf at the rear can also be stored at the rear seatback to give you even more space in loading bulky items. Aside from the generous trunk space, the cabin is peppered with various trays and pockets to hold gadgets and other items.
Powering the Venue is a Gamma 1.6-liter Multi-point Injection (MPI) gasoline engine mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. This combination promises maximum power of 121hp at 6,300rpm and maximum torque of 151Nm at 4,850rpm. The Venue has a unibody structure and is fitted with MacPherson struts in front and a torsion beam axle at the rear. Like all Hyundai SUVs, the Venue is built with Hyundai’s Advanced High-Strength Steel (AHSS).
Safety features include six (6) airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), front and rear disc brakes, as well as ISOFIX child seat anchors.
Fun, sporty, reassuring, and practical, the all-new Hyundai Venue provides you authentic SUV styling and stance that can make any place in the big city yours to make an impact in. With a bold and robust design, superior space utility, and loads of tech, you’re geared for even better journeys ahead.
