Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC)’s theme for the recent 8th Philippine International Motor Show was an extension of their recently announced “Road To Progress” vision during its 25th Inaugural Anniversary last July. With sustainability and responsible partnership as the core concept, IPC asserted that more than just producing durable and reliable vehicles, providing mobility and transport solutions has been its vital role in Filipino’s lives, which made them the number one truck brand in the Philippines for twenty-two (22) consecutive years.
Along with the introduction of Isuzu’s current offerings came the excellent fuel economy ratings of some of its vehicles as certified by the Automobile Association Philippines.
The Isuzu Traviz is one of the more popular products in IPC’s offerings, having sold over 10,000 units within its first two years in the market. With its big cargo capacity and excellent fuel economy that can travel up to 1,063 kms with just one full tank, the TRAVIZ easily captured the heart of SMEs and Fleet customers alike.
The Isuzu D-MAX and mu-X were also at the forefront of the line-up, showcasing powerful yet fuel-efficient performance, spacious interior, luxurious details, and 5-star safety features making them an excellent choice for Filipino families nationwide. In the recent testing, the DMAX was able to travel 1,564 kilometers or 20.58 km/l with just one full tank. The mu-X posted even better results having traveled further at 1,675 kilometers or 20.94km/l in one full tank.
Also on display in the main hall was the N-Series Smoother, a first in its class with Automated Manual Transmission. Ease of operation and fuel efficiency are some of its selling points making it perfect for business owners who drive their own trucks.
Aiming to provide a modern and safe mass transport solution, Isuzu also displayed the NLR PUV equipped with an array of safety and convenience features to elevate the commuting experience of Filipinos.
In the outdoor area, Isuzu displayed for the first time the latest addition to its heavy-duty line-up – the All-New GXZ. The 10-wheeler tractor head is equipped with the latest safety features like the Electronic Vehicle Stability Control and the Anti-lock Braking System, adding to the list of ‘solutions’ that Isuzu offers to meet the growing demand for safety in the trucking industry.
Also in the outside area were the custom-made TRAVIZ Ambulance as well as an NPR Double Cab to show that Isuzu trucks are not just durable and reliable, but also customizable to fit the various requirements of customers.
