Delkor Batteries is slowly rolling out in the Philippines and it is made by globally-recognized automotive battery maker Clarios, an industry veteran with over a century’s worth of experience and a broad portfolio of brands that include Varta, LTH, Heliar, Optima, and Mac Batteries.
Delkor Batteries use the innovative PowerFrame Grid Technology which is a component designed to power more durable and reliable batteries by enabling energy to flow quickly, reducing the battery’s grid’s risk for premature failure. This technology is said to be a better alternative to LEAD batteries which are more prone to corrosion and gassing.
Manufactured in Korea, Delkor Batteries was developed in partnership with General Motors, one of the largest automotive companies in the US. It has been listed numerous times on the Korean Standard Quality Excellence Index (KS-QEI), while its mother company Clarios is ranked number one in quality in the Korean Standards Association (KSA).

Bringing in Delkor Batteries to the Philippines is AP Blue Whale Corporation led by COO Ronald Ang. Four (4) lines of maintenance-free automotive batteries are available:
- Delkor AGM – for vehicles with advanced start-stop function and regenerative braking
- Delkor EFB – for vehicles with conventional start-stop function
- Delcore Premium Silver – for vehicles with additional power needs
- Delkor Calcium Battery – long-lasting for conventional power requirements
Positioned locally as a premium battery, pricing is said to be not far from the prices of brands like Motolite, Bosch, Amaron, and Yuasa. The brand currently has 30 dealer partners as they continue to build their brick-and-mortar outlets.
