The Philippines is the first market in the region to get the new Terra, to be followed by Thailand and Indonesia this fiscal year, and the Brunei, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, and Vietnam markets to follow.
“Over 60 years of SUV heritage went into the development of the Nissan Terra,” said Ramesh Narasimhan, President and Managing Director of Nissan Philippines. “The new Nissan Terra is designed to give you the confidence to take your family on exceptional urban and outdoor adventures by providing a no-compromise package,” he added.
The Terra’s reinforced chassis, five-link coil spring rear suspension system, and rigid rear-wheel axle work together to ensure strength, durability, comfort, and convenience. It is fitted with a 4WD-DIFF lock system, coupled with Hill Descent Control and Hill Start Assist so drivers have more control over the wheels during 4×4 situations.

The new Nissan Terra offers Nissan Intelligent Mobility technologies that are designed to bring safety and convenience to both driver and passengers. These technologies include Lane Departure Warning, Blind Spot Warning, and Intelligent Around View Monitor with Moving Object Detection. The vehicle also ships with a Smart Rear View Mirror that allows drivers to see images from a camera mounted at the back.
Unlike the China-spec 5-seater Terra, our version seats up to seven people comfortably, offering more convenience when getting in and out of the vehicle, with its first-in-class second-row one-touch remote fold and tumble seats. The vehicle offers one of the highest loading capacities and more rear space. It ships with premium leather seats (for the VL variants), an advanced air conditioning system, ambient lights, and a roof-mounted screen that mirrors the entertainment system’s head unit.

The new Nissan’s Terra’s V-motion grille gives a streamlined look from the front, while the “boomerang” LED headlamps accentuate its sharp and commanding appearance. The sleek roofline flows from the front fender to the rear, where the tail lights add to its dynamic look. Completing the exterior are 18-inch alloy wheels, designed to create exciting driving experiences both on and off the road.
“The new Nissan Terra’s features work together to bring the exceptional to everyday life,” said Narasimhan. “The Terra will change the game in the mid-size SUV segment, and that it will be the strongest contributor to the business growth of Nissan Philippines in 2018,” he added.
The new Terra will be available in 7 colors: white, black, silver, grey, brown, red, and gold.
