Mazda’s highly anticipated MX-5 RF retractable hardtop sports car has finally made its local debut at the 2017 Manila International Auto Show alongside the latest Mazda CX-5 crossover and the all-new CX-9 premium crossover.
“While the all-new CX-5, the all-new CX-9, and the much-awaited MX-5 RF have distinct characteristics that allow each of them to cater to different sets of buyers, they all share the same core values that Mazda has upheld over the years,” said Steven Tan, President, and CEO of Bermaz Auto Philippines.
“Always, Mazda’s goal is to blend refined styling, human-centered technologies, and groundbreaking innovations to create a unique lineup of products that engage and inspire owners not just when they are in the car, but also in every aspect of ownership. Jinba-ittai, or the concept of ‘horse and rider as one,’ thus becomes more than a tactile connection between man and machine—it turns into a strong emotional bond as well” he added.
Also on display at the MIAS are the Mazda Philippines lineup for 2017: The Mazda6 Sports Wagon with GVC, the Mazda6 SKYACTIV-D, the Mazda3 Speed with GVC, the Mazda2 Premium Edition, the Mazda2 RS, the championship-winning Mazda 2 Philippine Touring Car Championship race car, and the new 2017 BT-50 pickup truck.
As with all of Mazda Philippines’ offerings, the three new models also come with YOJIN3, the Mazda’s comprehensive preventive maintenance service package which includes free PMS, emergency roadside assistance and concierge service for three years, or 60,000-kilometers, whichever comes first.
