On the final day of the 2017 Manila International Auto Show, Mazda’s exclusive distributor, Bermaz Auto Philippines, turned over the first batch of the highly anticipated fourth generation Mazda MX-5 RF units to eleven eager new owners.
The hand over ceremonies was graced by the Mazda ND chief designer and now MX-5 program manager Masaaki Nakayama from Mazda Japan, who personally presented the keys to new Mazda MX-5 RF owners.
Also present was BAP president Mr. Steven Tan, who was delighted to see Mr. Nakayama engage the new owners of the first 11 MX-5 units in the country. He also expects the newly launched MX-5 RF to expand the audience or their best selling sports car with the added security, durability and comfort the MX-5 RF offers.
A majority of the happy new owners are members of the distinguished Miata Club Philippines. The club has endured and enjoyed a 20-year history of driving great handling roadsters from the Miata lineage.
The all-new Mazda MX-5 RF 2.0L SkyActiv A/T is priced at PHP 2,180,000, while the upgraded version with Nappa leather interior is pegged at PHP 2,250,000.
