After the Montero Sport and the Strada, it’s the Mirage G4’s turn to get the black treatment as Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) introduces the new Mirage G4 GLS Black Series.
Launched in August 2021, the current generation of the Mirage G4 was locally revealed in August of 2021 and was noted for its sporty styling featuring the bold “dynamic shield” front facia and interior refinements such as the new 7-inch Smartphone-link Display Audio (SDA) system which has Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.
This latest addition to the Black Series edition caters to customers looking for additional flair from Mitsubishi’s 4-door sedan but still values reliability and efficiency. New and thoughtful exterior enhancements include:
- Front Grille Red Accent
- Black Side Mirrors
- 16” Black Alloy Wheel Design
This new variant is also packed with sporty upgrades that would ensure a more enjoyable drive. The interior enhancements include:
- New Floor LED Illumination (Blue)
- New Center Console LED Illumination (Blue)
- Trunk Luggage Tray as Standard
- Center Armrest Console

For the Mirage G4, the target market, being cool and practical at the same time are their major considerations. With the introduction of this new limited edition model, we want to give our customers more options to best represent their personality,” said Mr. Takeshi Hara, President and CEO of MMPC.
The Mirage G4 GLS Black series is powered by a 1.2-liter 3-cylinder DOHC MIVEC engine with a Continuous Variable Transmission (CVT) which produces 76.4 HP and 100 N-m torque. It also features a Keyless Entry and Engine Push Start system along with a Welcome Home and Coming Home Light that activates upon the click of the remote to illuminate immediate surroundings when leaving or approaching the vehicle.
Only 150 units of this limited edition model will be produced for the Philippine market. It is priced at Php 899,000 and is available in Titanium Gray Metallic and Red Metallic.
