MG Philippines has always been an advocate of Original Pilipino Music (OPM), having staged numerous MG Live! free concert events in the past in an effort to showcase local talent and to reinforce the brand’s youthful spirit. While the brand has not been able to hold similar events recently for obvious reasons, MG still finds ways to celebrate OPM and bring it to the public.
This year, MG Philippines joins the Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA) as the latter brings their hit original Pinoy musical Rak of Aegis online. The musical features classic songs of the iconic rock band Aegis, and tells the story of a young girl named Aileen living in Barangay Venezia who dreams of becoming a YouTube sensation.
To add more excitement to the show, the #RakWithMG online contest will be held on MG Philippines’ social media accounts where users have a chance to win free e-tickets to watch the live streaming broadcast of Rak Of Aegis on August 7, 2021. From August 1 to August 5, users can qualify for the raffle by doing the following:

- Tag two friends in the comments section of the official #RakWithMG FACEBOOK post with the hashtag #RakWithMG
- Upload a screenshot of the comment along with contact details to this Google Form: bit.ly/RakWithMGRaffle. A total of 12 winners will be randomly drawn and announced on August 6, and e-tickets will be given on August 7, the day before its showing.
