As the quarantine restrictions are slowly being lifted and people are going back on the road, Shell believes that as long as everyone thinks of and moves for each other, the Philippines will bounce back.
This Independence Day, Pilipinas Shell will be handing out special origami doves for every guest at selected Shell gas stations. These doves have a simple message of hope that reveals itself when you assemble the origami.
“Everything we have witnessed through our fellow countrymen has given us reason to hope that the country will continue to bounce back and move forward,” said Pilipinas Shell Vice President for Retail Randy Del Valle. “There is a lot more that we need to do as individuals and as communities for a better tomorrow. That’s why it’s important for us to hold onto this newfound hope. Let this origami dove serve as a reminder of this,” he added.
To help its loyal customers bounce back, Shell has ongoing promotions that will make loading up on their favorite fuels more rewarding:
- Rewards for Your Return on the Road – Get P20 worth of items from Shell for every single purchase of either P750 for Shell FuelSave or P500 of Shell V-Power. The amount can be used to purchase items from Shell Select, Shell Express, Shell Shop, or as a discount for Shell lubes or oil change package.
- Get Gas, Get Bigas – Customers are entitled to one free kilo of rice for every single or accumulated purchase of either P2,000 of Shell FuelSave or P1,500 of Shell V-Power fuels at participating stations. The promotion period for both offers is from June 1 to 30, 2020, while redemption is until August 30, 2020.
Customer safety has always been a high priority for Shell. Since quarantine started, Shell Select convenience stores have upped their safety standards to deter virus transmission. Shields have been installed at the cashier to protect both customers and staff, and alcohol-based sanitizers are available at every station.
To help keep vehicles in tiptop shape, customers can continue to bring their vehicles to Shell Helix Oilchange+ Lube Bays for regular maintenance. All mechanics and receptionists have been briefed on the company’s safety procedures and will thoroughly disinfect vehicles and other touchpoints both before and after each maintenance transaction.
Much like the heroes of the past, Shell’s modern-day heroes work hard today to build a better tomorrow. Through the safety measures and aid they provide for customers and the community, Shell aims to boost recovery efforts so that the Philippines can get back on track as soon as possible.
