Located in the Shell C5 Southlink station in Pasay City, the new outlet gives customers located near the NAIA convenient access to expert vehicle services through comprehensive tests—and not just a mere oil change—performed by certified mechanics.
Shell Helix Oilchange+ is the largest vehicle workshop chain in the country and has extended its services beyond repairs and oil change to also cater to simple vehicle testing. Maximizing technology, Shell aims to help create safer roads and safer communities.
All Shell Helix Oilchange+ outlets offer a comprehensive Signature Service Check that uses modern tools to minimize human error such as the brake fluid moisture tester, coolant tester, digital tire gauge, and more. On-Board Diagnostic 2 (OBD 2) equipment accurately and thoroughly diagnoses vehicle health, which the trained mechanics can do in less than 10 minutes.
Going the extra mile, Shell Helix Oilchange+ keeps integrated vehicle service history data across all 400 outlets nationwide. This serves as a log for a vehicle’s previous troubleshooting jobs, repairs, and check-ups across any of the Shell Helix Oilchange+ outlets, and allows mechanics to perform expert services regardless of which outlet a vehicle is brought to. The integrated system can also provide customers with helpful data on when they would need their next oil change or maintenance check for their vehicle.
The outlets conveniently carry high-quality Shell Car Care products ready for customers to choose from. This includes Shell Helix Ultra with PurePlus Technology, the first synthetic motor oil designed from natural gas, as well as synthetic motor oil options. Some outlets have Helix lounges that provide Wi-Fi access and viewing windows that let the customers wait in comfort as their vehicle is being serviced.
Conducting these top-of-the-line services are Shell Helix Oilchange+ mechanics who undergo regular training from the Don Bosco Technical Institute, an industry leader in technical training, to ensure that the technical capability of the mechanics is up-to-date.
Shell Helix Oilchange+ is looking to expand its network to 40-50 sites per year. All outlets will have the same quality of customer service and inspection thoroughness. Sustainability effort to reduce carbon emissions, similar to the one in C5 Southlink, such as the use of eco-bricks recycled from plastic wastes, rainwater collectors for upcycling in restrooms, and the use of LED and inverter technology in the station’s lighting and cooling systems will also be implemented in future outlets.
