Motor Image Pilipinas Inc. (MIPI), the exclusive distributor of Subaru vehicles in the Philippines made a special visit to share joy with the residents of Hospicio De San José, located in the city of Manila.
Glenn Tan, Deputy Chairman and Managing Director of Tan Chong International Limited, the principal of MIPI, was on hand to personally turn over Subaru merchandise as well as a check from funds raised at the recent 2023 Manila International Auto Show 2023. The ticket sales from the Subaru x Russ Swift Rustle and Hustle stunt shows that ran for the duration of the MIAS raised a total of Php 139,000, and 100% of this was gifted to the institution.
“We would like to thank Mr. Glenn Tan and Subaru Philippines for their generosity and continuous support to Hospicio de San Jose. The gifts and monetary proceeds will be of great help for us here as this would allow us to continue our commitment of providing integral development to vulnerable and excluded sectors of society,” said Sr. Martha Gamolo, DC.
“We are delighted to support the beneficiaries of Hospicio De San Jose, as their mission aligns with Tan Chong International Limited’s values of being reliable and responsible in all our business practices as we aim to provide care, support, a sense of belonging and empowerment to both our employees and customers while fostering hope for a brighter future. I hope this initiative reinforces and reminds the beneficiaries that they are not just recipients of gift-giving but part of something bigger – our Tan Chong community,” said Tan
